Transbay Tube is closing... big problem for OAK arrivals

Southwest has reduced its itineraries from SNA so there are non-stops to OAK but not to SFO. This is about to be a big problem because the BART Transbay Tube is closing in February for extensive repairs. Arrivals in OAK bound for SFO will have the choice of an expensive Lyft or taxi ride or using the BART fill-in network of buses. Either option will take far longer because of Bay Bridge traffic.

Anybody else as upset as I am about this? What can we do about it?

Have you tried super shuttle? Sometimes they are cheap and if you use the app you can use code APP10 for 10% off or code SSS19 on the website for 10% off.

Hope this helps

Do you mean the transbay tube retrofit? To my knowledge this will only affect people going from east bay to sf at 4am, and BART will resume service at 5am. During that early morning time frame there will be express buses that are scheduled at the same time that bart does
