I am having trouble accessing any of the weblinks and pdf's posted for the information regarding health insurance included in travel to Cuba.  I'm in need of what this covers.  Please post this pdf instead of a link so I have access. thanks.

Hi there @ceb627,

We've compiled everything you need to know about traveling to Cuba here, on Southwest.com. If you scroll about halfway down the page, you'll find a section titled "Additional important information," and directly below that there is information about Cuban health insurance (which is included when you purchase your ticket) and a link to the ESCUBA web site, should you want to read more about the service.

Hi Lindsey,

It seems folks (including myself) are getting error messages after clicking on the link to the Esicuba website from the Southwest Cuba page.  This address works: http://www.esicuba.cu/index.php, but then I'm not sure which product of theirs is the correct one that corresponds to ticketed Southwest Airlines passengers.

Could this pdf be the one explaining the medical insurance (found under Seguros-->Personas)?

And for which type/benefit of coverage does Southwest provide as listed on this pdf?

Thank you so much!

Hi @soso1,

I'm investigating the broken link and will report back when I've got some information. I tried it myself and also got an error, so I'm having some folks in technology take a look. I'll research your other questions as well.

Thanks for reporting that, @interwebbs. I've also received confirmation that the link has been fixed.

Hi Lindsey,

Thanks for addressing and correcting the erroneous link to the Escicuba website.

As this link only takes us to the company's webpage for personal insurance, could you also please add the link or direct us to the actual coverage type on that webpage that states the actual insurance type covered by our Southwest airline ticket?

Thank you!

Hi Lindsey. Where can we find our actual insurance documents specific for our flight?  The links provided herein (as well as in the email received from Southwest) all point to what appears to be personal insurance information (not actual proof of insurance documents), and it's all in Spanish.

This is the link I am accessing:  http://www.esicuba.cu/index.php/nuestros-seguros/personas

It's Sept 2018 and the suggested links to get info on the Cuban Heath Insurance still don't work.  I just want to see the printed terms and conditions.  In June 2017 there was response by "soso1" which had good links and I got "Guaranty of Trip to Cuba, ESICUBA: Conditions."  And another link that was a chart of coverages and limits, but that didn't tell me what level of coverage Southwest got for us.  Can we get a link that works and provides the nitty gritty details of the policy?  Thanks.

Here's soso1's links:

I am reading about traveling to Cuba and see that medical insurance is required to have. It looks like many airlines include this in their ticket, is that the case here as well? Thanks!

My boyfriend is a Cuban resident and he is already covered.  How can we get the $25 refund for the medical insurance that was automatically added to our bill?
