Okay so here's the part I don't get:
"Southwest will accept the first two checked bags for free provided that the bags do not exceed 50 lbs and 62 inches"
NOTE* is states " provided that the bags do not exceed 50 lbs and 62 inches"
I have 2 suitcases I want to check when I arrive, they are both 55-60" and weigh about 45 pounds each BUT It clearly states "BAGS" (plural) do not exceed 50 pounds.
My question is does the 50 pound/62 inch limit apply to the accumilative total of the two bags or is the 50/62 limit exforced on each bag?
Thanks in advance for any help clarifying this.
