Your "auto reject" likely had nothing to do with your background and certainly had nothing to do with your disability. It is likely due to you answering questions like this incorrectly (there may be more):
a) Are you willing to attend training in (insert location here)
b) Are you willing to attend X weeks of training
c) Are you legally entitled to work in the US
d) Some jobs require that you be an existing resident of a state. Are you

Secondly why are you making it a requirement that I tell you my Sex and Race instead of being able to decline to answer, is there are reason that I am being force to answer those question or are you using the question to hire only certain people?
The federal government requires companies to devise Affirmative Action Plans. Getting that data is part of that process.

My view is that you are entitled to use the space in front of you, but not to the sides of you. I guess if I were a middle seat passenger and your foot ended up in front of me, that I might complain.
If you want to use middle seat floor space, maybe you should just take a middle seat.

I bet that was not a lot of fun.
Sounds like you should file TWO complaints with SW. One for the outbound flight, and a second for the return flight. Southwest will likely issue travel vouchers, good for future travel, for both of them.

As the original author said, each company is blaming the other & nobody cares to help. Until then, other cards are earning my spend.
The only company that could help is Southwest as Southwest issues the RR points.
The problem is that if Chase did not tell Southwest how many points to hand out, how is Southwest going to know how many points to hand out.

That;s strange.
My experience is that pre boarding starts at 30 minutes, and general boarding starts at about 20 minutes. - of course that is dependent on the number of pre boarders.
I think the SW policy is that if you are not at the gate at 10 minutes, then they have the ability to give your seat away.

I don't think you can do that.
If you booked a flight with a connection in AUS, then the same day change would apply to the entire flight. You can;t change just the second flight.
Now if you had booked it as two one ways, then you could change the AUS/BWI component

If you check flight status, you'll see that planes leave early all the time. If all ticket holders are on board why wait.
I doubt that a plane would leave early if there are ticket holders that are not yet on board - even to avoid weather . Any airline that does that to me will see a scene of epic proportions

Here's how the process works
1) Chase buys RR points from SW
2) SW holds on to the points for Chase
3) Chase tells SW to give customers some of those points
4) SW tell Chase "OK, will do" and issues points.

Dear dfwskier,
Would you mind explaining what you mean when you say, "I'd be more interested if both the 3 and 9 month windows extended into 2024., but they do not."
What I'm specifically wondering is if I don't meet the $15k requirement until February 2024, will I get the 60,000 points award in March or April?
Sure.
If one is trying to get the 120,000 points to get companion pass, then one has to spend $15,000 in about 5 months in 2023 -- by the time the Chase December CC statement comes out.
Plus that means the pass would be good for a short bit of time in 2023 plus all of 2024.
Now if both the 3 and 9 months qualifying periods are in 2024, then one has a full 9 months to spend $15000 -- plus the pass would likely be good for a relatively longer period in 2024 plus all of 2025.
edit add: to answer your other question, if you spend $3k in 2023 then you get 60k points in 2023. You get 60k more points when ever you cross the $15k spend threshold within 9 months - and you would get them in either 2023 or 2024 depending on when you cross the threshold.

At Southwest, the person whose points are being used to buy a ticket, must use his/her RR account to do so. Same thing with any changes to that ticket.
Sorry.

Hello,
Any pilot who is taller than 6ft? I am really interested in applying for FO in Southwest and I was wondering if I am able to get hired, with my height being 6'7''. I am interested in flying commercial aviation and I do not want to get my passion crushed just for a height restriction on my end. I am trying to apply for FO and I really love this airline so much that I think that SWA would be a great place to work as an airline pilot.
If there is any height restriction within the airline for pilots, please if you could let me know that would be great!
If anyone is willing to answer, please do. Thank you so much!
Are you already a pilot or First Officer with another airline? I would imagine that this type of limit would be pretty standard across airline.

File a claim with your home insurance policy. You lost somewhere around $10000+- worth of points, and insurance should provide some reimbursement.

In recent years, I watched prices after I booked a flight and if the price went down, I would change to the lower price ( on the same flight) and bank the difference. I am trying to do that on an upcoming flight but am not given the option of booking the same flight at the lower price. Has the policy changed? Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong? Thanks.
Before you started your process, did SW offer you an option to make a no cost change? If so that is what is causing your problem. The system is trying to process this as a no cost change, but if you try to change to the same flight, then the system says, "no, that is not a change."
This has happened before. You'll need to contact that airline to make the change. I'd suggest that twitter in DM mode would be the best way.

Sorry to hear of your troubles.
Every airline has policies about handling situations like these. At some point seats that "belong" to confirmed passengers that are not at the gate on time are given to standby passengers. At some defined number of minutes before departure time , the doors are deemed closed to any more passengers.
You likely were affected by some combination of the above.
Sorry to be blunt, but next time get to the gate on time.
