SInce Southwest does not charge more for 2 one way fares when compared to a roundtrip, there is nothing preventing you from booking the October trip now as a one eway, and the November trip later - also as a one eay.

There'sonly one year in the last 10 that I recall that Southwest DID NOT have a June fare sale that covered the time period between after Labor Day thru just before Christmas (not counting Turkey Day).

The only thing you can buy with points at Southwest Airlines iis plane tickets.
A different organization, More Rewards, allows people to buy things other than plane tickets on SW. You need to compalin to the right company..

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience.
I did a quick look at hotel reviews, and it seems that many people were quite happy with the hotel.
Did you contact the front desk and tell it that your room was unacceptable, and that you wanted a different one?

That is correct. Earned points always count towards CP even if they are used to buy a points flight.

SW changed the app and chat s now "hidden," but here's how you can find it.
click on "helpcenter" click on "day of travel" cliuck on "I want to fly standby or make a same day change"
and then a "chat" bubble will appear - allowing you to chat
I have to admit this is not a positive change.

It probably doesn't;t matter, but I would cancel the one tied to the CP that expires first. You can;t have 2 CPs. Southwest will certainly honor the one that lasts the longest.

the ru;le is:
Who Cannot sit in emergency exit row?
"Passengers who are accompanied by a person who may require assistance during an emergency evacuation, including small children (less than 8 years old for domestic flights or less than 12 years old for international flights), elderly persons or persons with disabilities cannot focus on providing assistance in the event ..."
So I guess the assessment was made that your size was enough of a disability that it would have prevented you from being able to assist other passengers evacuate the plane in the event of an emergency.

Glad to hear that you really like SW airlines.
As far as passengers go, the general lack of civility ties to the "all about me" syndrome. You see it driving, you see it walking down the street, you see it with people with 20 items in the max 10 times checkout line at the food store, and yes, you see it on planes. Lots of people just don;t even think about the impact they have on others.
Regretable, but it is reality.

Agent at the front desk had the audacity to sit there with a bold face lie and tell me it was a new TSA policy.
The agents at the Security checkpoint told me they never heard of such a thing.
Southwest is getting cheap and lazy.
Not to mention the way they handle luggage has been abhorrent in recent years.
Shameful company.

It has happened to lots of people and it has nothing to do with your disability.
Search this forum for "instant reject" and you'll see some of the reason it has happened to others.

As SoCalFlyer mentioned, standby order is not just necessarily a function of when people sign up. Other factors determine exactly where you end up on the list.
It can change as people sign up for standby. I remember one time a few years back I was #2 on the list and there were at least 8 seats available. I was pretty sure that I was going to catch that flight. As time passed, I kept falling in order down the list. By the time boarding started I was #14 -- and I did not make the flight.

Sounds like you had already used 3 of 4 of them before your most recent activity started. They have to be available to you at the time you access them. I'm not a Chase cardholder, but have been told there is an online tracker tied to your Chase account where you can verify what is available to you.
Also sounds like some Chase employees got it wrong. They were dealing with things they seldom deal with and simply got it wrong.

Prime summer travel season start the second week of June, so your dates are in that period.
SW prices change a lot. A few weeks ago prices to places I fly were outrageous. Then for a few weeks they were prety good. Now they are back to outrageous.
Keep watching.

That one's easy -- take a seat as near the front of the bus as possible. If that means a center seat, so be it - especially if your connection boarding position is an A and the connection is to a long flight -- like Hawaii.
If you happen to have a C boarding position on the connection, it makes less difference.

Sorry to hear you ran into trouble.
But the fact of the mater is that people that provide wheel chair assistance at any airport are either employees of the airport or are contract employees of the airport. Southwest has nothing to do with them.
Thus your complaint should be filed with the airport.

That would be against the law.

You do not need to prove you are disabled and federal law prevents the airline for asking for proof. just tell the airline that you need to preboard.

This says this question is "solved." I guess that is true if you count saying "You can't do that" as solved. I have tried everything on the Southwest website and even spoken with multiple phone reps. Unless I'm really missing something, you can't book A-->B and C-->A on one itinerary.
In Southwest's multi city mehodologyyou can only book A to B to anywhere you want. There is no way to enter a 4th city in the equation. So just book two one ways.
The earlier "solved" referred to multi city not working.
It just will not work in the way you want it to work.
