Sounds like quite the situation. You may want to provide a brief summary of the day to Southwest. Use the contact us link at the bottom of the page and send a message.

Sounds a perfect situation to have purchased travel insurance. Some credit cards also provide coverage for delays and cancellations so take a look and see if you have any coverage.
You acknowledge the issue was not isolated to Southwest so how are they to blame for any of it? You were provided a voucher as a gesture of good will and rescheduled on the next available flight. Southwest can't just magically make seats available on earlier flights.

Seems like Chase provided you with information about what happened and what needs to be done to get the proper referral. As this is a Chase issue there is nothing anyone at Southwest can do.

Does the trip you are trying to purchase complete before expiration of the voucher?

I'm guessing this is it. It folds up, but I do not see exact dimensions while folded. It still looks big to me. Gate checking would be easier IMO.

I can't imagine any sort of stroller going in the overhead bin. You'll probably want to gate check it and it can then be brought back to you at the gate when you land.

Look through your Chase statements for credits. Sometimes just small purchases made with Southwest are mistaken as the EarlyBird purchase and are credited.

If you ask nicely, sure, but why should one be issued if the child is already accompanied by an adult?

Not sure what the phone number has to do with it. Are you using More Rewards?

Wow, bummer that your credits don't expire on or after 7/28/22 as those have automatically been extended. As you said, your request is in queue and there is nothing beyond that that can be done. Southwest is making these extensions as a gesture of goodwill and demanding them to act faster is overlooking that they could just say no extensions are available. Since the credit you will receive will not expire once you convert it into a travel credit it might make sense for you to just book the trip you need to take now with cash and use the credits you are waiting for on a later trip.

Credits from a reservation due to cancellation or change are returned to you as travel credits.

Your best bet is to contact Southwest in writing with the details about the vouchers, including number and request their assistance with it. Use the contact us link at the bottom of the page and send a message.

Perhaps it was taken by a non-Southwest employee, but I have read too many posts on hear about people tracking their missing item who make lots of assumptions based on weird tracking information they see and then 30 days later say "oh, I got it back".
Amazon = package delivery service
Southwest = airline
You can't even compare the two.
Perhaps you should do better about keeping track of your personal belongings?

There's a progress bar in her account that shows the requirement and current amount spent towards it. That would easily show what the offer is.

You won’t find that there is a number of how many passes because there is not a limit on the number or passes they can issue. Anyone can request and can be issued a gate pass if they have a legitimate reason. One reason listed is to escort a young traveler. Which is as what we did as parents.
So nothing guarantees that you can receive multiple passes, and in fact, nothing guarantees you can get one at all. While you may not have liked the decision of the agent, they do get to decide whether you get the pass or not.

Yeah. It’s on the Southwest websites. Easily accessible to anyone that knows how to google it. People should know what their rights are and they should be easily able to access policy that is made for them. It’s convenient that Southwest made it available and accessible online.
When you originally posted I was looking around on southwest.com to learn more about the gate passes, but couldn't find anything that specified a number of passes that can be requested. Do you have a link to a policy that states the number?

All items are sent to a central location to process, this is not done at the airport. The process can take time, think 30 days or so. If you have submitted a report with serial number and/or other specific identifying information you have a much better chance of getting the item back.

You do not have to use the Southwest carrier, a slightly larger carrier can be used. The policy states, "Other pet carriers with maximum dimensions of 18.5” long x 8.5” high x 13.5” wide"
The policy also specifies, "The cat or dog must be completely inside the pet carrier and be able to stand up and move around the carrier with ease."
The entire policy can be found here"

@SWFlyer007 Yes, your companion needs to check-in, but the boarding position is already assigned if the companion pass holder checks in. Just like a A-List flyer has to check-in even though their boarding position is assigned prior to check-in. If a flyer does not check-in by at least 10 minutes prior to departure their reservation is canceled.

Just stumbled onto one. I was pricing out a trip to SEA from COS with layover in DEN, $103. Just doing COS to DEN is $120. Now, it is my belief that you would be crazy to pay anywhere near $120 or even $103 just to fly from COS to DEN, the shortest flight in all of Southwest's network, but if you wanted to do it and save a few bucks you'd be better off booking COS-SEA than COS-DEN.
