Seeing the reservation is still in your account is a good thing. You should probably reach out to Southwest directly to confirm nothing has changed. They can also rebook you if needed.

You cannot make the request before expiration which explains the lack of answer to your previous inquiry. Save yourself the headache and send a message as I described earlier. Done in 2 minutes.

Travel funds expire one year from the date you made the original purchase, not one year from when you cancel. If your travel funds expired May 4, 2022 that indicates you made the purchase on May 4, 2021. Is that correct?
All is not lost. You can request expired travel funds be converted to a voucher. The value of each travel fund is reduced by $100, but you will be able to use the majority of your expired travel funds value. You have 6 months after expiration to request this and then 6 months to use the voucher. Send your request in writing using the contact us link at the bottom of this page and send a message. Send the confirmation numbers from the expired travel funds and names of the passengers who had the travel funds.

I don't work for Southwest and Southwest does not typically monitor this Community, thus why I say you are not going to get the help you want based on the info you are providing.
If you change your mind and want to get input from others about how best to handle your problem then you'll need to provide more details. That does not seem to be what you desire based on you lovely, kind tone so we'll all just ride off into the sunset now. Good luck with your issue and have a lovely day.
Adios cowboy,

Wow, settle down there cowboy. If you aren't going to provide any specifics then I don't see the point of your post. You aren't going to shake up anyone or embarrass anyone other than yourself posting like this. I was merely trying to help point you in the most likely direction. Have a lovely day

Failing to include any details about your issue isn't helping. You mentioned Chase so most likely the issue is something to do with credit card points not being posted to your account. In that case the issue is 99% of the time something Chase would need to address.

My statements are not uninformed, but yet what I've witnessed
When you make judgments about a person's usage of preboarding based solely on witnessing them walking you are incorrectly judging many people who can walk just fine, yet qualify for preboarding based on a non visible condition.
I'm sorry if that's too many words for you to understand. I'll simplify it... Mind your own business and don't judge people.

You can write to Southwest and let them know of your troubles. It's likely that you will receive a voucher for future travel as an apology. It is unlikely that you will receive reimbursement for the hotel.

Bye!
"one of the first", not first. Out of 175 seats on a 737-800, even after preboarders you are "one of the first". You have no room to complain that you are not receiving the benefits of Business Select.

Discrimination and judgment??? Not at all! Don't like Entitled and priviledged attitudes. When they arrive at their destination and act like nothing is wrong with them. All the sudden assistance is no longer needed aka "Miracle Flight" . Again....I've witnessed it, many of times! I know some don't like this, but these are FACTS!!!
Note -I am entitled to my opinion as an AMERICAN. Just like you TheMiddleSeat.
Leave me Alone! Move on!
I'm still waiting for you to let us all know how you know people do not qualify for preboarding. Your belief that "nothing is wrong with them" shows you are judgmental and discriminating against people who qualify for preboarding with or without a wheelchair. Again, preboarding is not based on ones ability to walk.
I will "leave you alone" when you stop making uninformed statements. I tried to warn you that you were going down an undesirable path and the more you respond, the worse your statements make you look.

You pay for a boarding position in the A1-15 group. You do not pay for a particular seat, section, or anything beyond a seat on the plane. Time to reel in your entitlement.

All travel using travel funds must be completed before expiration of the travel funds. That's a very long standing policy and your understanding was incorrect.

There was four direct flights for 7/29 when I booked 5:30 am, 9:55 am, 5:00 pm & 9:00 pm and SW cancels the the 9:55 am flight-?
.
While a stop is inconvenient, I fail to see why it is a complete non-option, even with a 4 year old.
And, as you have said, there are still 3 other non-stop flights on that same day. It seems a bit unnecessary to raise this much of a fuss about having to change to one of many other options on the same day, including 3 non-stops.

Why is it when someone calls out another person's uninformed comments and provides clarification of policy they are considered rude?
You suggested Southwest charge for preboarding. Are you not aware how many federal laws that would violate?
You mentioned that covid tests were required on some flights so similar checks should be done with preboarders, but failed to understand that covid policy is because of federal law, not because Southwest chose to do so. Same with preboarding, federal law dictates what Southwest can and cannot do.
You said, "there were literally 15 pre-boarders (wheel chairs) & companions. Some didn't seem to have any trouble getting around once arriving." and " Isn't there a lot of walking involved in Vegas," yet preboarding has nothing to do with being able to walk. If you would actually take the time to be aware of policies, the preboarding policy states, "Preboarding is available for Customers who have a specific seating need to accommodate their disability and/or need assistance in boarding the aircraft or stowing an assistive device." There is nothing in there about having trouble walking or that would disallow someone who didn't "have any trouble getting around once arriving"
I was also not the one who started name calling.
I do not work for Southwest.

You want changes to preboarding? Contact your legislator.
Yes, seat saving happens. The policy neither allows, nor disallows it. If you are so bothered by it perhaps fly an airline with assigned seating.

Perhaps we need to get a handle on these threads instead. This has been discussed before, lots of times, no need for another thread with the same complaining. You're welcome to send your thoughts directly to Southwest, use the contact us link at the bottom of the page and send a message.
In summary, Southwest does not and will not prohibit seat saving. Pre-boarding is required by federal law and an airline is not allowed to inquire about the "legitimacy" of the request.

If you purchased all flights as one single round-trip reservation, you only have one confirmation number, then you are correct that you do not want to skip a flight as all remaining flights on the reservation will be cancelled. You would need to complete the flight DEN-COS so your return flights remain.
Since Southwest allows free changes, you could look to see what it would cost to change your flight from MEM-COS to MEM-DEN. The only cost to you would be the difference in fare, but since you are cutting out a leg any price increases since you originally booked might be offset. You can do this online, select the change flight option and choose the MEM-COS portion of the trip. Then search for MEM-DEN and choose the same flight your were originally scheduled to fly on. On the next screen it will show you the fare difference. Your return flight will not be affected if you do it this way.
Welcome to Colorado, please bring some BBQ

The short answer: if you need to preboard, simply request it at check-in or at the gate. If you plan to prebaord there is no need to purchase EarlyBird. You did not seem to have a specific question about passengers of size, but that option is available and can be utilized to give you a little more room.
Here is information about preboarding from https://www.southwest.com/help/day-of-travel/boarding-process
Preboarding is available for Customers who have a specific seating need to accommodate their disability and/or need assistance in boarding the aircraft or stowing an assistive device. If a Customer with a disability simply needs a little extra time to board, we will permit the Customer to board before Family Boarding, between the “A” and “B” groups. Those Customers who need extra time to board will receive a new boarding pass with an extra time designation. The designation serves as notification to our Operations (boarding) Agent that the Customer should be permitted to board before Family Boarding.
We will allow one travel companion to act as an “attendant” and preboard with a Customer with a disability. In most cases, the Customer requires assistance from only one other person, and any additional family members or friends are asked to board with their assigned group.
Customers should request preboarding from our Customer Service Agent at the ticket counter or departure gate. Our Agents are trained to ask fact-finding questions to determine if the Customer meets the qualifications described above. Those Customers who qualify for preboarding will receive a new boarding pass with a preboarding designation. The designation serves as notification to our Operations (Boarding) Agent that the Customer should be permitted to preboard.
It's important to keep in mind that Customers who preboard may not occupy an exit seat.
Note: Customers who are preboarding because of a need for a specific seat onboard the aircraft should speak with the Operations (Boarding) Agent prior to the start of preboarding to alert the Agent to the seating need.
