Hello my name is Lisa Polk. I am requesting information about being a Flight Attendant at Southwest Airlines. I have been applying for 2 yrs to no avail. If anyone has information about how I can apply and get my resume in please let me know. I am and have managed for over 20 years. I move to Vegas 2 yrs ago with the hope of working for Southwest. Updating your resume wil not affect your chances. I know this because I updated mine as well while I was still sitting at "received submission" and I received a call for a phone interview. Southwest has left me speechless, which is amazing, your concern, luv , heart, and passion speaks through like no other, your simply amazing, Southwest has capitalized on, luv and kindness, that is the southwest spirit and that is why Southwest is the best in the sky. Thanks for your interest in a Career at Southwest Airlines, and congratulations on securing an interview! We do recommend coming "dressed to impress" to your interview. We often see ladies in suits or dresses, and often see men in a button down, slacks and tie -- or even a full suit. As @Christyplagge mentioned, we love when Candidates do their research before coming to the interview. We find studying our Culture, Values, Purpose and Mission to be helpful. @AshleyMainz & @KelbyTansey Today while doing my normal stroll through all the community post checking to see if anyone had posted anything about getting an interview I came upon one post in the Community Outreach board and let me just say, ladies I sincerely feel for you. The post that you have to read and things that you have to go through can make for a hard days work. Kelby and the rest of the team going through 100's of 1000's upon 1000s of applications and having to stop and probably answer phone call after phone call about where someone stands in the interview process then having to respond to post after post can make for a very long hard day. Then on top of all of that you have Ashley who is having to respond to post about the NRA and people not being very respectful about things. Can sometimes take its toll on an employee. I have a management/leadership background and one thing that I always made sue Idid was built my staff up and motivate thenm daily. I always wanted to make sure they knew how variable they were to the company and Im sure you hear this often because Southwest leadership is pretty amazing but WOW thank you for doing such an amazing job. This isn't just for Ashley and Kelby they are the main names that I know by heart thats why I called them out. But Seriously thank you! You are all doing an amazing job. I hope that one day I will be able to tell you all face to face but this will have to do for now! @sholoday. I do not work for Southwest yet. (Staying hopeful) but I did read somewhere that with the extremely high amount of application litany’s that it could take weeks, even months. No worries @Christyplagge... i am not the best at navigating this community site and it takes me some time to find things again. I have experienced the SWA emails (unrelated to FA info) and the brief excitement thinking this might be it. But I’ll maintain patience and a warrior spirit until fruition. I did notice my application is “under review” (and has been since 2/6) so I’m taking it as good. Weekend was good... i served as security for the women’s Pursue the Passion conference today... good speaker... good message. Hope you hear good news soon! Will look forward to meeting you one day should we both experience the blessing.

Yes! I know what you mean! Once hired I will personally locate and apologize to the people I have pestered and begged to verify my application actually made it through on the 5th during all of the "turbulence". As @Christyplagge mentioned, you are most likely just looking at your dashboard for a portal other than Inflight. You can click here to log in to the Inflight portal, where you should see the submission on your dashboard. Regardless, if you have received a confirmation email, you should be good to go!
