I know this is very basic, humor me. I just hit A-List for the first time. On my next reservation, I do not have to purchase early bird and my boarding pass will likely be high A with NO ACTION ON MY PART? I don't have to check in manually (on the phone app) and I shouldn't buy early bird...Correct?

So, I have what I'm afraid is a dumb question. I have qualified for the Companion Pass and now have a points total of approximately 150,000. My question is: Have I simply qualified for the Companion Pass program? Or... do I have to "pay" 110,000 points to add someone as my companion (reducing my points total to approximately 40,000)?

I have the mobile app logged in to my account. I also occasionally log in to my RR account on the website. As I accrue points, the website updates but my mobile app never does. I have to uninstall the app and re-install, and then it reflects the accurate point total. I have seen the same behavior from the app on multiple phones, so it isn't the phone. It's irritating. Any ideas?
