Except.... when you can't. No passbook support (which is amazingly simple to support) and after checking in for my flight (with 2 family members on the same reservation) I had no option to get a mobile boarding pass. I had to print at a kiosk. The flight 5 days prior where I checked in on my laptop? That one allowed me to use a mobile boarding pass. Talk about backwards.
SWA continues to be behind the curve on technology, which is frustrating for efficient travelers. I love flying with you guys, but am constantly disappointed with the mobile experience.

For the record, I never said this was the only way to educate or engage. It's one of many tools. Being up close to animals is very different than seeing them on your TV or computer screen. It's very different than seeing a museum exhibit. It's very different than reading a book. Life experiences are cumulative. You guys are trying to negate my argument by taking a super narrow interpretation to dismiss it, which is typical of these types of "discussions."
I believe there is a net-positive societal/global impact by having SeaWorld around than not. None of us have data to prove it in either direction, of course.
So go ahead and vote with your dollars. Don't give them to SeaWorld or SWA. If you care so much, put those dollars into your own awareness campaigns and run these evil corporations out of business. I'll see you in aisle 7.

There are two sides to every story. Without SeaWorld (and others), the average American would have zero direct interaction with marine animals. This has a direct impact on our ability to sympathize with their plight. So you take away SeaWorld, and some number of years down the line, you get people who care a lot less about the animals you are concerned about today.
Watch how kids become engaged with marine life after a visit to SeaWorld. They now care about dolphins, whales, turtles, etc. Don't be so short-sighted.
I, for one, support SWA in their partnership, and I'm sure the silent majority do as well. At least those that think things through a bit.
