Caitlin’s precious smile is contagious, and it’s no surprise that this Southwest Airlines Pilot was moved by this 8-year-old’s sweet spirit. Caitlin is a Make-A-Wish® kid, and as a national sponsor of Make-A-Wish, Southwest helped us send her on a fun trip to her favorite theme park. Southwest Airlines has really been great to our wish kids. From the moment our families step into the airport, Southwest Employees make a difference, whether it is a helping hand by Customer Service Agents, the Pilots taking time to pose with wish kids in the cockpit, Employees passing out “wings” on the plane, or Flight Attendants making announcements that wish kids are onboard, we all feel the Southwest LUV!
Southwest has also been a big help in the times we have had to reschedule or cancel travel plans, usually because a child is too sick to travel. Southwest Airlines Employees are always easy to work with, and this makes the jobs of our Wish Coordinators much easier. We truly appreciate Southwest’s support of Make-A-Wish, and we are so thankful for all you do to make our wish families feel extra special!
