Southwest Airlines is committed to the diverse communities we serve. We believe that everyone in our community is part of our family, and as a family, we love to celebrate each other.
Last year we had a Napkin Art Contest in which we asked our Customers to draw something that inspires them. Artist, Shawn Perkins drew five different designs of people he felt inspired him to be the person he is today. As they say, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” So in honor of Black History Month, we’ve decided to let Shawn’s pictures do the talking.

As you can see, inspiration can come from anyone or anything. Thank you, Shawn, for sharing your beautiful artwork and inspiration with us as we celebrate Black History Month.
