I travel in my job. A lot. While I am not necessarily thrilled with being at the airport or in the air all that much there are a few things I take refuge in that make it tolerable. One of those is Southwest Airlines. I love Southwest Airlines.

It is amazing to me that their business model not only works but that Southwest consistently posts the highest rates for customer satisfaction and on-time flights…while at the same time having a low incidence of lost luggage. Let’s take a look at what makes Southwest work and relate it to being successful at customer service.
