[asset|aid=1023|format=image|formatter=asset|title=ColleenWhartonStill.jpg|width=300|height=169|resizable=true|align=right]This week’s episode of Red Belly Radio is actually the audio from a video that I shot. Peter Cappelli, a professor with the MBA program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, asked if Colleen, our President Emeritus, would do a little Q&A for his MBA students. And he asked if I would video it so that he could show the class (and I assume future classes). I said “Why not?” and Colleen said “Why not?” and before long I was recording Colleen sitting at her desk talking to the phone.

Award-winning video? Perhaps not. Good answers from questions like “How you got to where you are now?” and “Give us a sense of some of the things the Company does do keep things fun?” and more? Definitely.

This the first of two parts, but the second part won’t be for a few weeks. I’ll let you know when I release that, but for now give this first part a listen.

Sorry but I couldn't find any decent way of uploading an image on your blog other than in my profile. My nephew George would tell you :"Dave can fix that". Anyways, George (Handicapped, Down's Syndrome) Just flew back with his new computer after the holidays. On his computer is the opera Die Fleidermaus during which there is an aria entitled "Champagne". We traditionally serve Champagne when the Aria shouts "champagne" Southwest doesn't serve Champagne (like Midwest used to). No problem, we created a new recipe called "Southwest Champagne" George used his computer to take a picture of us enjoying it. I added the captions "When George flys Soutwest Airlines: He always has Southwest Champange. Southwest Campagne Chardonnay Wine Ginger Ale Order an extra glass with ice Mix the wine with the Ginger ale in the extra glass. Enjoy your flight! (tell your uncle to keep his mouth shut while you watch the movie).
