What is the policy for checking in car seats?
Do checked car seats count as one of your 2 checked bags?
I could not find any official policy on car seats.
Post from 2017 states that car seats do NOT count towards the 2 checked bags but I want to be sure this is the case. Asking to clarify if post from 2017 is still applicable:

Thank you.

I'm having trouble getting to the link in the newly organized FAQ section but this is still true, you can check a stroller and a car seat as two additional items that don't count towards your two free items.
Also if the child is ticketed they also get two free checked items which may help. Lap children don't get the standard two free items, but they do still get the stroller and car seat exception.
