Pre-Board Request Agent Treatment

Orland1973

Disappointing experience with a gate agent on 01.21.2023 at LGA airport.  I don’t have a visible disability but the agent made me feel uncomfortable and anxious about asking for a pre-board ticket.  I am noticing such behaviour is happening a lot when travelling on Southwest.  Has anyone else experienced such treatment from a gate agent not specifically the same location?

Solution

Make the request to preboard due to a medical condition as per the Air Carrier Access Act.  From there, refuse to answer further questions.

Simply repeat your request to preboard due to a medical condition as per the Air Carrier Access Act.

So what EXACTLY did the gate agent do to make you feel uncomfortable and anxious?

What was your specific reason to pre-board? (Not interested in your disability and Please do not share it.)

Just what pre-boarding "need" did you have? need help sitting? stow medical device? extra time?
