howdy, I'm flying from Atlanta to Vegas Wednesday, but I have to change planes in Nashville with a brief layover. As far as checking in 24 hours beforehand, if for example I get B15 for the first flight, does that mean I also have B15 when I'm lining up in Nashville?

Solution
No, you will have different boarding positions for each flight though you will be checked in and assigned a boarding position for both flights when you check in.

If you use the digital boarding passes and download them to your Apple Wallet, make sure you get both of the passes. If you swipe left when the first one pops up, you should see the second one.
