I travel lots and use an older IPAD that has iOS 9. SW updated the app and it says it requires iOS 10 or higher. Is there anything I can do so I can still use my iPad?

You can do almost everything the app does on the mobile web site, https://mobile.southwest.com and that should work regardless of iOS version.

will you iPad not download to iOS 10 or 11? I have an iPad mini 2 which is a little old since there is an iPad mini 4 now but I can still get iOS 11.
If you can't get IOS 10 I would use the full website on the iPad which I do from time to time if I am using travel funds and it works just fine
