Bought tickets for my mom but can't add my rapid rewards

I bought tickets for my mom on my account and I'm trying to add her flight info onto her phone using my login info but it won't let me connect my rapid rewards account anymore because the passenger name isn't mine. Is there a way to still add it even if I'm not the passenger

Solution

The Rapid Rewards is attached to the individual who is the passenger, not the person who bought the ticket.

If you want to manage her tickets online, then you can setup a RR account for her and add the flight retroactively with the new RR#.

 

There’s not any functionality right now to manage family members’ tickets other than through their own account.

 

The exception would be if you are also flying and then book it all in one reservation then you can see the tickets for others on your same confirmation number.
