Companion Pass with Chase Credit Card

If I open a personal Chase credit card and a business Chase credit card, will the points earned be combined to qualify for a companion pass?  If not, can I open two personal Chase cards, the $69 and $99 ones and get the companion pass?  I know you need to have 110,000 points to earn the companion pass, the I read the Chase credit card points for opening an account do count.  Can anyone please clarify on this topic?

I would read all the terms and conditions, and if you still had questions I would use contact info at bottom.

Yes. All points earned from any of the Chase Southwest Visa cards qualify for Companion Pass qualification, including sign up bonus points. Personal + Business is your best bet, as Chase rarely (if ever) approves 2 personal accounts for the same person. (The prefer to upgrade a single account.)

Be aware that many offers have minimum spend requirements, and that there may be a delay from the time you earn the points until they post to your account. Do not cut it close at, say, the end of the year. All 110,000 points must be earned in a calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec 31), which will then qualify the earner for CP for the rest of that year and all of the following one.
