Has anyone had a problem with their companion pass renewal/qualification because Southwest Airlines and the bank where your card is from figured the points differently? I was informed by Southwest Airlines that we had once again received the Companion Pass, because they thought we had, but then it was determined that my bank was counting points from last December and so the last 3 weeks of December did not count toward our annual points. Problem is, we did not find this out until January. We have been hoodwinked.

Rapid Rewards terms and conditoins are prity spectific:
"Points earned during a billing cycle on a Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Card from Chase are not available for redemption or qualification for Companion Pass status until they are posted on your billing statement and posted to your Rapid Rewards Account. Only points posted on your billing statements and posted to your Rapid Rewards Account during the same calendar year are available for qualification for Companion Pass status."
