If surname in passport is blank how should the boxes name be filled- first name box & surname box?

for e.g. first name in passport is given as BOBBY JOHN

I would call or try social media to check on this before you buy a ticket with incorrect naming.

Is this not a USA passport? I think it should match your ID but this might be a special case.
