I could not pass up the opportunity to apply for what would be an absolute dream job for me. I was excited to receive an email to set up an initial interview. I made the first cut!
However, after reading several posts here, I’m wondering if I should continue to pursue the opportunity, as the position is hybrid. I have heard of some companies turning hybrid roles into remote roles if the candidate is the right fit. Is that even remotely (haha) possible? I would hate to waste anyone’s time, but I am of the mindset that it never hurts to ask. I am not in the position to relocate to be onsite three days a week, but I am open to traveling (a lot) when needed. Should I withdraw? I would be very disappointed, but understanding.
