I have a question about employment history verification when applying to Southwest Airlines. If a previous employer can not be contacted, what documents does Southwest accept to verify employment history? Are pay stubs and verification letters from previous employers accepted, or are W-2 forms the only documents that Southwest will accept?

Hi @ssk2486,
If a previous employer cannot be contacted, we may require you to provide paystubs, W2s, or 1099s. Although you will be given time during the background processes to collect these documents, the process will move more quickly if you begin collecting them ahead of time. Best of luck!
