Up to this point I was a committed Southwest flyer... but really having trouble with a flight schedule that takes between 5-10 hours of travel time to go from Denver, CO to Richmond, VA.
There are plenty of attractions near Richmond area...a number of colleges...VCU, College of William and Mary and a variety of others as well; historic sites such as Civil War Battlefields, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown; Richmond an important city historically and presently. Fun attractions- Busch Gardens, Water Country USA.... just down the highway...surely there are more. Not too far away is Norfolk...I am told....the largest Navy Station in the WORLD?!
So....why are all the Southwest Flight so terrible getting in and out of there? I prefer Southwest, but can get another flight non-stop that takes only 4 hours...
Please someone tell me the marketing department will really listen.
I think southwest could have the market share of flights if they'd pay attention. I just don't feel like getting a automated response from them about this....
