Sometimes I have last minute travel reservations to make. In these circumstances SWA prices are through the roof and aren't competative. Are there tips or ways around this--i.e., do prices go down the day before, etc? Thanks.

Hi @humadyn,
As a general rule, it will be more expensive to book travel close to your travel date. But, if you've got some flexibility, a great tip is to use our Low Fare Calendar to find the best prices available throughout the month. Also, travel tends to be a little cheaper on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Booking up to two weeks, or even one week out will often save you a little money as well.

Hi Lindsay,
Thanks for your quick response...SWA continues to impress me. I guess I knew much of what
you stated. However, when I have "last minute" flying needs, if I want to stay inside my budget, I find myself at the mercy of the other customer-focused-airline wannabees.
Appreciate the tips.
