I use a Google Pixel 2 XL which earlier was running on Android Nougat. As of today as I have updated to latest Android Oreo whenever now I will open the Southwest app it simply loads a blank screen on start up and gradually crashes after a while. Any idea how to get it working normally again?

Follow the below steps.
1. Restart your mobile phone and try reloading the app
2. Now Go into settings - application manager - clear cache on the app
3. Make sure the internet connection is working
4. Delete the app and reinstall it
5. Update app, phone, or tablet

Hopefully the issue got fixed in the last 2 years. Sorry you didn't get a response back in 2018. Sometimes just a delete and reinstall will fix the issue.
