I was planning to pick up a string art while I was traveling and was wondering if anyone knew if I'd be able to take it on the plane when I come back. I don't want to put it in the suitcase just in case it gets damaged and was trying to avoid shipping t back.

I would chek with the tsa regulations, but often if it is not a sharp, dangerous, or liquid object it may be okay. I know SouthWest will not allow you to hold it in your hand during the flight but you may be able to carry it on in a small box as a personal item or in a personal item book bag or in a carry on. Another good suggestion may be to contact the SouthWest customer service.
