I have a slightly different question from some of the preceding posts. Does Southwest still allow the use of Travel Funds to be extended past 1 year if you pay a fee? I know that was allowed several years ago.
I have Travel Funds that will be expiring next month and I would like to use them, but my wife earned a Companion Pass and I am her companion. I don't have any travel plans coming up without her and I will not be able to use up all my funds by just using them for the Security fees. Do I have any options?

Hi @mrobertsstl,
Customers have the ability to use their travel funds up to one year from the original date of purchase. If the funds expire, we are sometimes able to make an exception where we offer a Southwest LUV Voucher in the amount of the funds - less $100 - that can be used for an additional six months.
