hi there, i'm guessing this question is answered somewhere already but i searched and can't find it. I need to cancel a flight and the website is offering me to save the funds for future use. can i use those funds for ANY passenger (as long as we use the conf #) or are they ONLY use-able by me, in my name??
Thanks in advance for your reply.

If Southwest cancels the flight then you are entitled to a refund, see this thread: https://www.southwestaircommunity.com/t5/Travel-Policies/What-Southwest-are-y-all-flying/m-p/104748
Your question applies if you cancel the flight, in which case, the funds are assigned by passenger. Only the original passenger is able to use the funds.
It may be worth waiting to see if Southwest cancels the flight before you take any action.

The travel funds are not transferable so they are only valid for the passenger who was originally ticketed.
