When you are Business Select or A-Lis t your personal check in time does not matter.
Southwest preselects your boarding position for you and locks it in 36 hours before departure time. It is revealed when you check in. You will get the same position if you check in an hour before your flight as you would if you check in 24 hours before your flight.

I found flights to BWI

and Ft Lauderdale and Chicago Midway
It looks like Ft Lauderdale is the primary gateway for non stop flights with a limited number to the other two cities I mentioned.

Since this is a customer forum, you likely won't get anything changed here.
My suggestion is to send SW an e-mail. Click on Contact Us (below) to proceed.

one of two reasons
1) Since the trip requires a connecting flight, there may not be one
2) SW has a rule that when booking connecting flights, there may be NO MORE than one plane change -- If there's more than one, the system won't even show you the flight.

I've always called to make a same day change. I seem to recall reading somewhere that someone said that this cannot be done online.
Assuming other people are also making same day changes, it seems you have a better chance of making one earlier in the day as opposed to later in the day.

If you're ever having struggles with SWA customer service, a helpful tip is DMing on Twitter. Usually faster too.
It doesn't always work I have been exchanging DM's with a particularly bird brained employee after opening 2 e-mail cases with two equally birdbrained customer service agents.
No one seems to understand that 2 point to point flights are NOT a flight with a connection.

Safe travels on Frontier, enjoy their baggage fees and be aware that their gate agents now recieve additional financial compensation thru paid commisions for every carry on baggage fee the gate agent collects.
How will you deal with the 24 hour purchase restriction? Per Frontier's rules you can only "buy" your ticket one day in advance of your planned travel? So no roundtrip tickets.
Forgot about the 24 hour rule, and if the plane is near full, there may not be room for momma and 4 kids - then what????????
Frontier ACTIVELY searches for carry ons that don;t fit the bag sizer - thus triggering the onerous carry on bag fee. Didn't know that AP employees earn a commission for every one of those they catch.
I do occasionally fly Frontier, and if you really know how to play the game it is OK. Don't know the rules of the game and the fees will play gotcha with you.

We are seriously considering changing flight companies because of the options and discounts offered by Frontier. They offer an unlimited flight pass for summer (May-Sept) for $499 they also offer an annual unlimited pass for $999. Kids also fly free with a paying adult. We have a southwest credit card, we fly often because I live in California and my husband in Texas. We have 6 kids. 4 here with me and 2 with him in Texas. And somehow we aren’t even eligible for a companion pass?! We fly all the time but with a customer service that could care less if we leave to another airline we probably won’t be flying southwest anymore. It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing
The rules about what it takes to qualify for Companion Pass are clearly stated. Meet the requirements and you'll get one. They aren't given away willy nilly just because someone thinks he/she deserves one.
Be careful of the Frontier " deals". You'll still have to pay taxes - which are more than just the TSA $5.60 fee. Don't be surprised if the "fare" is $10 and the taxes are $60 -- which you will have to pay. Then you have to pay for checked and carry on bags and maybe about $40-$50 for a decent seat. Of course you can always sit in the back of the bus for cheap. Something to drink on board?-- yup you'll pay if it ain't water. Snacks? Yup, pay up. Want to talk to a Frontier rep at the airport, pay up again for the privilege..
If you aren't; careful, you'll find that even with a "free" ticket, you'll end up paying more than on a regular airline.

assuming you kept your flight purchase confirmation e-mails, you can search your e-mail for the voucher number - it would be included in these e-mails.
I am unaware of any other way.

Are these theories completely off? Is it something else? Sound off, experts! (And thank you!)
Yes they are. Yes it is.
Revenue is vouchers, travel funds, credit cards, debit cards, cash. They all result in tickets that have a dollar value and thus qualify for A-List and CP eligibility. RR point flights and any "free flights" you might get are not "revenue" flights and therefore do not qualify for anything except getting you on a plane.
SW earlier this spring announced that certain RR points flights would be A-List eligible BUT NOT CP eligible. So my guess is you had a few points flights that are not CP eligible. In my case, my RR account shows I have 17 A-List qualifying flights but only 11 CP qualifying flights.

Sorry to hear you ran in to trouble. Some TSA people are on power trips. You apparently ran in to one of them.
Sounds like you should complain directly to TSA

All found items are shipped to a central location in Alabama and are entered into the "found items" database. I do not know if this is SW or third party.
You should fill out a SW lost item report - including as much detail as possible to help others identify your item.
The process can take up to 30 days.

By federal law, anyone who claims a need to pre board will be allowed to do so. So, if you think you need to pre board, yes you can.

Unless dealing with a plane with lots of continuing passengers, I have found that If I board as late as about B10 that I'll find an aisle or window seat in row 11 and forward.

The app has never really "checked" you in. TSA requires every passenger to check in manually before a flight.
SW allocates boarding spots automatically to those that are Business Select fliers, A-List and EBCI fliers. SW callas that "checking in' but it is not as TSA defines the term.

A1-A15 are reserved for those that buy Business Select fares and those that elect to buy them, if available, within 24 hours of departure. They are not automatically handed out as part of the A-List and EBCI boarding position allocation.
The best boarding positions go first to A-List passengers followed by EBCI buyers IN THE ORDER OF EBCI purchase. So if you were A50 that means there were 35 other A-list and EBCI purchasers in front of you.

Having early bird does not prevent anyone from checking in 24 hours or less from departure. So something else is going on. I
f you bought an Anytime fare, early bird is included.
I am unaware of SW "gifting" early bird on anyone.

Question (and I ask this as someone with zero skin in the game and zero expertise): Southwest's official policy is that preboarding is for people who need assistance while boarding or people who need a specific seat, and that people who need extra time board between A&B. According to the OP's description, their condition requires extra time in boarding but not the two requirements of preboarding (to the best of my reading of their post). Under federal law, can WN ask the OP "does your medical condition requirBy federl lawe assistance? does it require a specific seat?" and if they answer no, refuse preboarding?
By federal law, anyone who claims a need to pre board must be allowed to pre board. That's it.
