I belong to a coin club called the Western reserve Numismatic Club, in this club their also a member by the name of Lawrence Freeman, he’s a WWW II veteran and he’s being telling me a few other members this Honor flight trip that he took with your organization. When we meet we sometimes have “show and tell” related to coins, tokens, or other special events, this past Monday when we met Larry brought some pictures, medals that he won when he was active duty and he started to make his presentation regarding this “great trip” that he took with the “Honor Flight Of Cleveland” a few weeks ago and it did not cost him a penny. He told us many details including how everyone made him feel special and how wonderful the trip it was.
As Marine Corps Vietnam veterans myself he made “choke up” the wonderful time he had, all the monuments on the tour and everything that he saw, and how special you guys treated him.
I usually don’t write many thank you notes, but this one is very hard for me to sweep it under the carpet. Thank you much for showing Larry a great time and the great job your organization is doing. I just want you guys to know that there are people out here that do appreciate what you’re doing. Thank you again.
Donald
