I am making a flight with a short layover in ATL (30 minutes) this summer and I'm concerned about our checked bags making it to the next plane in time. Does SW have a process in place to make sure bags make it to our connecting flight in a timely manner or will they deliver out bags to our hotel (an hour away) if they miss the connection? ... Looking at some flights for a summer trip to GSP and most invlove a short layover in ATL, some as short as 30-35 minutes, is this enough time to make a connection? Are all SW gates in the same terminal? If we miss a connection it looks like we would be stuck there pretty much the whole day.  ... View more
