My health is managed by a NP who is my primary care and not an MD. My NP has written a letter on letterhead by the practice. Will this be a problem as online it keeps stating "medical doctor" and when I call southwest I can not find someone who knows the answer.

Solution
Southwest requires a letter from "a licensed mental health professional or medical doctor" who is treating the Customer’s mental health-related disability, so you should be fine. Just make sure it contains all of the information requested.
