why doesn't Southwest board the seats in the rear of the plane first? It would seem that it would save 15 minutes of boarding time since there would not be so many people waiting for others to put luggage in overheads before they could get by them?

So far the evidence doesn't support that this would be a faster method, and they aren't setup to do that since there aren't assigned seats...how do you decide who sits in the back?
