Cut off date to earn companion pass credit

HI, my cut-off date of my charge card is the 17th of the month and my due date is on the 14th of the following month.     So if i rack up enough charges say by November 17th and I pay that my December 14th - I would make companion, correct?      But nothing i purchase "past" the 17th of November would qualify because that wouldn't be due til January 14th correct?   HELP, I am "SO" close and don't want to screw things up

I every thing you charge on your credit card prior to your Dec 14th due date that is not in (pending) will post to your Rapid Rewards account about 5-7 days after Dec 14th.
