I just transferred over some Chase Ultimate Rewards points. I see them under "points activity" in my Southwest account. However, they're not showing up in the "points available" total. How long does it usually take for the points to become available for use? I would like to purchase tickets with the points today. Thank you!

Should be available almost immediately.

According to the Southwest website, it may take up to 72 hours for the transferred points to be posted to your Rapid Rewards account. However, some users have reported that the points may show up sooner, depending on the time and day of the transfer. If you need to book a flight urgently, you may want to consider other options, such as paying with cash or using a different credit card. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.
