Hello,
I'm starting to look into flight schools to get my pilots license and credentials. When looking at applicants does Southwest Airlines have a preference of a flight education through 4 year university's vs. smaller private flight schools. Any tips on the direction I should focus my career path on are much appreciated!
Thank you,
John

John,
The mentoring group Professional Pilots of Tomorrow (www.theppot.org) can be a good source of information (I am a mentor with them). I do not know if SWA has a preference for specific flight school(s), however I do know that a four year degree and which university or college you attended is a selection in the current application. Good luck on taking your next step.
