Hi SWA Community-
I am looking to read more about why a good sub set of the positions posted require you to live in the state at the time of application. ( some folks have homes in several states)
LUV to state hop!

Hi @KimVanderKley,
Thanks for your question! Depending on the role, this limitation could be for a variety of reasons. One common reason is efficiency and speed in hiring. Often times, our Operation needs that role filled quickly. By limiting the applicants to the state within which the opportunity is available, we can ensure that the Candidate is ready to start as soon as possible. Also, more often than not, roles with this designation do not offer relocation assistance for those moving from out of state. I hope that this provides some clarity to the process!

Okay I am curious. What about cities that border multiple states like St Louis or Memphis? Is that taken into account?
Thanks
