Recently flew from Austin to Milwaukee. When I arrived and got to my destination I noticed my bag had been checked by TSA which is ok but there was damage. I tried to call Southwest customer service. The lady who answered appeared to be annoyed and really did not know who could help, she had to ask someone. Not very customer service oriented. She was going to help file a claim but did not seem interested in helping. I told her thank you but no thanks. Seems training is needed on this.

Out of curiosity, what sort of assistance are you seeking?
Have you contacted anybody at Southwest besides the Customer Service person that you initially spoke with?

Unfortunately Southwest employees are not the same as tsa employees so they would not know. They don’t have any control over that. You can always file a tsa claim which it sounds like maybe you did ? That’s the only main action to take . Usually takes a couple of weeks for them to reply
