Food on Flight ? and Prescription Medicine ?

We have a flght tomorrow that is 5.5 hours long, do they serve a meal on board ?  AND I have prescription medicine, are we required to carry all prescription bottle "on board" or can we check them ?  THANKS !

Southwest does not serve meals.  They do serve free crackers and peanuts. You may want to purchase food once you pass through TSA or bring from home.
