I am having trouble booking flights online. (There is no discussion thread for "Booking/Reservations".) I just talked to a customer service representative about my problem on my PC not being able to get to the page where I can select flights. She told me the problem is probably with my web browser because if I am "using Internet Explorer it is obsolete and does not work for Southwest.com. You should be using Chrome." Has anyone else heard of this? I did go to Chrome and was able to get the flight options. I've used IE for many years to book my flights on Southwest, and have just had trouble numerous times recently.
BTW, the CSR told me she "couldn't just sit there and wait for me work on my computer" to see if using Chrome allowed me to get the info on Southwest.com. She said she "didn't have time" to help me further and there is no technical department at Southwest to assist customers. Unbelieveable lack of customer service for what's always been such a great company!
