So my flight was cancelled due to weather around 24 hours before it. How do I rebook? Can i take another airline? I may lose hundreds in non-refundable lodging. Stuck in nightmore hold with 50 minute wait times.

You may receive an email with information about re-booking or taking a refund.
If you go to Southwest.com and your cancellation is related to a major storm, there will also be a link there that allows rebooking from available flights without paying extra or refunding the fare.

You can only make the change one time though. If you opt for another airline, I'd book that first before canceling Southwest.
Southwest won't pay for another airline due to weather related cancellation, but you can take a refund or at least a credit to future flights (expires one year from original purchase) if you decide to fly another airline.
