For all you ALP’s and Business Select folks that board early enough to grab the isle exit row on a 300 series, do you help your FA’s with the safety instructions? The FA’s have to grab the demo seat belt, the card, the Life vest, the O2 mask, take these things on and off, cram them into pant belts, seat trays, etc., what a pain! I try to help all the time by passing the card, holding the items until they need them, and they seem to really appreciate it! I’ve seen some fellow isle occupants do the same but not as many as I would expect. Message is help your FA’s out…they really appreciate the effort…..and may you maybe even get a cocktail for your troubles 😊 (not that’s the objective!) Happy Flying!

Considering that BWI is such a major hub for SWA and one of the best craft brewers in the US is in Fredrick, Maryland less than an hour away (Flying Dog Brewery) Snake Dog would be a great choice for an IPA for the general flyers…..

Random Subject of the Day..... So the new uniforms are out…a mix of blue, red, grey and a potpourri of tertiary colors (or at least it seems that way 😊) The crew seems frustrated with the fact that Cintas has dropped the ball in delivering the new threads on time (therefore a mix of old and new for all Flight crews as well as Ground folks- at least at BWI) and overall the comfort level seems marginal (based on my unscientific survey from FA’s on 3 recent trips last week) Does this mean the plane livery changes from the Blue, Red and Yellow to Blue, Red, and Grey???? I hope not!!! Comments? Like? Dislike?

This policy is a complete joke....I saw this recently happen to a passenger boarding in Business Select trying to get an exit row window seat (he was right behind me) and the person sitting in the exit row isle said the 2 seats remaining were "saved"..really? The flight attendant right behind the exit row heard it all and couldn't do a thing.....she was rolling her eyes...welcome to the unwashed masses of modern air travel 😞

I have yet to have been charged extra for checking clubs, even though in some cases they have been slightly over 50lbs...crossing fingers as I guess the SWA counter folks could have charged but they have always done the right thing...another reason why I love SWA!
