Thank you for reaching out! If you're traveling on a Boeing 700 Series aircraft, the aisle way is 15". The armrest in the bulkhead is movable, so it's possible you could do a 90 degree transfer. On an 800 Series, while the aisle way is 15-18" (depending on the year built), we would need to do an aisle chair. Please don't hesitate to speak with an Employee at the airport on your date of travel for your best options.

I agree. My travel experiences with SOUTHWEST had been very positive. A couple of issues here and there but always a helpful crew when problems arose.

Be sure your reservation is noted as needing assistance. You can do this when you book the flight online or via calling three airline. (You'll be asked certain questions to better understand your needs.) Looking at your boarding pass you should see DWC on the right side of the boarding pass (if printed at the airport). Many times you're last to deplane if you require assistance because wheel chair pushers are not always at the gate when the plane arrives. These individuals are not airline employees so they just go where they are assigned.
