When you book a flight, it shows up immediately in your RR account.
Something headed south on you:
Could you have entered an incorrect RR number
Did you make note of the confirmation number. Can you use it to check the flight?
I've never used Uplift. Is there a way to check with Uplift to verify a reservaton was made?
Until you verify these things you should assume that you do not have a reservation.

If you hit the cancel button, the next screen you;ll see is one that confirms the flight has been cancelled and the funds retianed for future use.
If you want to transfer the funds , then go into the travel funds portion of the account, and it will show the travel fund and it will indicate that it is eligible for transfer.

WN is the 2 letter FAA designation for Southwest. DL is Delta. AA is American.
I don't know where WN came from, but it is what it is. Some others are wierd, too. F9 is Frontier, and NK is Spirit

If the reservtion does not appear in your RR account and you cannot retrieve it by the confirmation number, then all is not OK.
Check you credit card to see whether or not Southwest actually charged you for the flight.

Nope, but you can earn RR points if you put the charges on your own Chase RR credit card.

Give Southwest a break. It recovers over 100,000 lost itmes a year. Yours is no more important than the other 99,999 others.
The lost item process matches found items with items reported lost. As long as you reported either a SN or an IMEI you will probably get your phone back.
The process can take up to 30 days.

737- MAX8s would have no problem flying HNL to SLC. The problem is that prevailing winds from the west and SLC's high altitude present problems with the plane being able to consistently fly the route non-stop.
737 MAX7s have more range and could probably be able to do the route. The problem is that Boeing has failed to deliver any of the hundreds of MAX7s that Southwest has on order.

Southwest long ago figured out that open seating is the fastest way to get everyone on a plane. Fastest boarding means quicker plane turns - which allows more flights/gate/day and more flights/plane/day -- which in turns mean more profit and potential for lower fares for everyone.

The vast majority of Southwest customers like open seating, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Sorry to hear of your loss.
When your daughter booked you a new flight home, that is what it was: A NEW FLIGHT. When one books anew flight, one has to pay the going rate for the flight. That is apparently what ahppened in your case. Tickets boguht for travel in "the next few days" cost lots more than tickets bought in advance -- that happens at all airlines including Southwest.
Since you say you hve been a RR CC member for over 4 years, i presume tht means you at least occasionally get on a plane. So you should know that people start checking in for flights 24 hours before departure. That means that when you got your ticket Friday night for a flight on Saturday morning that window to get boarding positions had alredy been open for half a day. LOTS OF PEOPLE had aleady checked in. There was no way for an agent to "give" you an A boarding spot becaue they had already all been handed out.. You got the best position that was available at the time you checked in.

I cannot imagine a scenario where any flight attendant would prevent multiple rows of passengers from deplaning so that you could make your way back and retrieve your bag before anyone else deplaned. If you bag is behind you... you need to wait until you have a chance to get it. You should not expect everyone else to wait for you.
Agree. No airline is going to delay thede planing procesx to allow someone to walk back to his/her bag.
When this happens to me, I wait a bit for passengers to be a bit delayed and there is aspace in the aisle and then I move a few rows back.T hen I wait for the next space, and move a few more rows back, Rinse and repeat as needed until I get to my bag

How in the world are there no direct flights out of LAX into OKC when there are from LAX -> Kansas City? How can I escalate this to become a possibility? Really hate flying American in general but that's the only nonstop option for this route that I travel maybe 10+ times a year.
Use the “Contact Us” to submit a suggestion.
The problem that Southwest has is that it is short of planes: courtesy Boeing's inability to actually ship the new planes it has committed to ship. Until that changes, any new routes are highly unlikely. Instead SW has been cutting cities to cope with the shortage.

You should be able to get a second card so you both have one, but you will have to request the second one. It will not come to you automatically.. As you oberved, points will only accrue to the primary card holder.

Again I wonder if it is related to the 737 paranoia. Most airlines use them now instead of the larger aircraft. It definitely has nothing to do with competition in my case. Buffalo is never THE place to go...ha.
I guess you diidn't read my post easrlier in the thread in which I said I found numerous examples of the lagacies selling LAX/BUF August roundtrips for $275 or less..

The only thing apending charge does is reserve some of your avaialble credit. As long as you are not as risk of exceeding your credit limit, don;t worry about it. When the pending charge drops off, your full credit limit will be restored.

I expect Booking.com's arrangement is similiar to the one that Chase has with the airline.
The companies buy RR points from SW. The companies tell the airline how many points to distribute and to whom.
In return, the firms are allowed to advertise on the SW website.
